Personal injury reforms to go ahead, confirms Civil Justice Minister

Lord Faulks has ended months of uncertainty by confirming that the consultation on further reforms to personal injury will not be published until after the EU referendum, but will be implemented in 2017.


County court judgments at lowest level since financial crash

The number of county court judgements recorded against businesses has fallen to the lowest level since the 2008 financial crash, according to new figures.


One in five law firms targeted by scammers in past year

The Law Society has revealed that more than one in five law firms (22 per cent) have been targeted by scammers in the past year and that money was successfully stolen from client account in eight per cent of these cases.
