New Audit Manager for Watson Buckle
Bradford-based chartered accountancy firm Watson Buckle has promoted a long-serving member of staff to become its new audit manager. Gillian Corcoran, previously an audit senior with the firm, officially takes up the new position this month, although she will continue with some of her existing duties during a transitional period. Gillian joined the firm as a graduate trainee five years ago before moving into the audit department. The audit manager post is a new position, reflecting the planned expansion of the department and the fact that the firm is now taking on more recruits at a trainee level. |

Gillian said: “Ever since I joined the firm I’ve always been particularly interested in audit and have concentrated on building my experience in this area, so I’m very pleased that I’ve been given the opportunity to lead the team.
“We are now taking on more trainees and it is important that we have someone in place to ensure their training needs in the audit department are being taken care of and that we offer a consistent service to our clients at all time.
“I am very excited about my new role – I’m looking forward to developing my experience further and I know the partners here will offer me the support I need, as they have done throughout my career.”
