Watson Buckle appoint new Audit Manager and Audit Senior

Yorkshire-based chartered accountants Watson Buckle have made two appointments to their audit department.

Selina Bocskei and Sarah Smith have joined the Bradford practice as Audit Manager and Audit Senior respectively.

Selina joined the firm on December 5th from Robertshaw Myers in Skipton where she was Audit Manager.

She began her accountancy career at the age of 18, working in the Tax and Financial Planning Department of Auker Rhodes in Bradford where she attained her AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification.

From there she moved to Robertshaw Myers as an Audit and Accounts Assistant in 2005. She attained the ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) qualification in 2008.

In joining the firm she said: “I am looking forward to the new challenges and responsibilities the role will offer.”

Sarah Smith joined the Bradford practice on November 14th from Baker Tilly, which she joined in 2007 to train as a chartered accountant.

At Baker Tilly, Sarah obtained the AAT qualification and a training contract and worked with various clients specialising in the charity sector, listed and group companies.

Before retraining as an accountant, Sarah worked in banking with Alliance and Leicester after leaving school.

Following three years with Alliance and Leicester, she moved to Lloyds TSB for seven years, finally working in the role as client relationship manager, managing a portfolio of business banking clients.

Sarah said: “I’m delighted to have joined such an innovative and forward thinking firm.

“I look forward to developing relationships with clients and helping them to achieve great success.”
