I began working in financial services in 2001, working for Lloyds Bank until 2009. During this time, I trained and qualified as an FCA authorised financial adviser, predominantly using Scottish Widows to meet clients’ pension, investment and protection needs.

During my time with the bank I was fortunate to spend time working in Lloyds’ Offshore Division, visiting and dealing with international clients based in the Caribbean.

In 2009 I formed my own financial advice business, operating successfully as part of the St. James’s Place Partnership for 10 years. My clients were gradually transitioned to another practice within the company, as I worked towards achieving a long-term ambition to become an airline pilot.

This ambition was realised, and promptly ended(!), after 11 months flying the Airbus A321 for the former airline Thomas Cook.

Thankfully my motivation for financial services remained a priority and in late 2019 I was delighted to be offered the role of Independent Financial Adviser with Watson Buckle Wealth Management. Such opportunities to work with a high quality and long-established firm don’t arise too often and I’m extremely optimistic about the potential to forge long term relationships with existing clients.

The preservation and growth of your wealth is, and will continue to be, our main priority. Being independent offers our clients access to whole of market protection, investment and pension services, including simple and complex tax planning arrangements.
