Bradford accountant seeks to educate businesses on benefits of cloud software
25 April, 2017
Michael Dolby, Senior Accountant at Bradford-based Watson Buckle, has achieved accreditation on a range of cloud accounting software packages – and is trying to raise awareness of the benefits businesses can reap by using such packages.
In recent weeks, Michael, who joined the forward-thinking firm almost 39 years ago, has been demonstrating software packages such as Quickbooks, SageOne, Xero and Kashflow to clients who have expressed an interest in cloud accounting on an ad hoc basis.
Michael Dolby, Senior Accountant at Watson Buckle, said: “Cloud accounting software enables businesses and individuals alike to keep all of their tax and financial information in one place – offering a simple solution to bookkeeping for all.
“What’s more, this information can be accessed and managed on the move, allowing busy business owners to manage their books quickly and effectively, with minimal disruption to their day-to-day operations”.
Susan Sedgwick, Managing Director at Watson Buckle, added: “Our team believe that cloud accounting is the future – particularly with the Government’s Making Tax Digital (MTD) project less than a year away from being phased in from April 2018.
“We have recently updated our company website to include further details of the benefits of moving your business’ financial data to the cloud. However, we are urging interested parties to get in touch with Michael in order to have an accredited expert explain how cloud accounting can best benefit you”.
