Members of staff from prominent Bradford-based accountancy firm Watson Buckle recently took an afternoon break from their day to day duties to sample some of the UK’s finest ales at Saltaire Brewery’s Beer Festival 2017.
The event, which featured more than 40 varieties of craft beer, ale and more, ran from Friday 8 to Saturday 9 September, at Saltaire Brewery in Shipley.
Four members of the Watson Buckle team, including Corporate Services Manager Selina Bocskei, Business Services Managers Danielle Vollentine and Sandra Robinson, and Audit Senior Sam Stirzaker, attended on the event on Friday.
The group were accompanied by guests from NatWest bank in Bradford, including Senior Relationship Managers Julian Nutchey and Chris Steel, and Assistant Relationship manager John Russell.
Guests had the opportunity to sample some of Saltaire’s best locally-brewed beers, as well as cutting-edge craft beers and ciders from other breweries all across the UK. These ranged from Northern Monk in Leeds and Magic Rock in nearby Huddersfield, to Berkshire-based Siren brewery.
Guests finished the evening off with a hog roast and food from the award-winning Indian street food company, Ruby’s Street Kitchen.
Commenting after the event, Selina Bocskei, Corporate Services Manager at Watson Buckle, said: “Attending Saltaire Brewery’s Beer Festival this year with some of my colleagues and guests from NatWest was really enjoyable and a great way to wind down for the weekend.”
“The event gave us all a great opportunity to unwind and network whilst sampling some of the UK’s finest beers. I look forward to supporting the local festival again next year.”
