QuickBooks Platinum PartnerProminent West Yorkshire accountancy firm Watson Buckle is celebrating being appointed as Bradford’s first QuickBooks Platinum Partner.

The forward-thinking firm, which has been providing tax and accountancy services to businesses and individuals in and around Bradford since 1902, has received the prestigious accreditation as a result of its expertise in supporting clients with the transition to innovative cloud accounting solutions.

The proactive, in-depth advice offered by Watson Buckle in relation to QuickBooks’ online accounting packages was closely assessed before the growing accountancy firm was hand-picked for the accreditation.

Under Making Tax Digital (MTD) plans outlined by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC), but temporarily delayed before the General Election, it is thought that most businesses and individuals will be expected to shift to an all-digital tax system within the next few years.

Leading software provider QuickBooks offers a series of professional online accounting packages designed to make managing finances on the move easy and hassle-free, while Watson Buckle specialises in helping businesses and individuals get to grips with QuickBooks’ innovative applications.

Susan Sedgwick, Managing Director at Watson Buckle, said: “It is a great honour to be appointed Bradford’s first official QuickBooks Platinum Partner.

“I and the rest of the team at Watson Buckle are delighted by the news and we will continue to do everything in our power to support clients in and around Bradford with the latest online tax and accountancy services.

“With the Government increasingly pushing for an all-digital tax system in the near future, the move to online accounting is essential for businesses of all shapes and sizes, and our specialists are keen to support clients with their transitions to the fantastic systems offered by QuickBooks.”
