4 July, 2017
New and longstanding members of staff at Bradford-based accountancy firm Watson Buckle are pursuing higher qualifications in a bid to increase the firm’s service offering and expertise as it continues to grow.
Rebecca Hurford, Corporate Tax Manager at Watson Buckle, has recently started her Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) exams, while newcomer and Graduate Trainee Matthew Stowell – who started working at the firm earlier in June – will be pursuing an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) qualification in September.
The firm, which dates back to 1902, offers a broad range of tax and accountancy services to clients of all shapes and sizes, and currently prepares accounts for some of the region’s top companies and sole traders.
Susan Sedgwick, Managing Director at Watson Buckle, said: “Watson Buckle is a forward-thinking accountancy practice and our team members are always looking for new ways to upskill and go the extra mile for our new and existing clients.
“It is a real pleasure to be welcoming Matthew to the team and I would like to wish both him and Rebecca the best of luck in their ACA and CTA exams, respectively.”
