Damien Wolvaard

I am a young passionate South African with a desire for constant growth and learning.  Recently qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (SA) in 2023, I seek to add value to the community in the services that I provide and develop professional relationships with the people that I work with.

My experience includes both assurance and non-assurance engagements provided to the private sector, including but not limited to auditing financial statements for a wide variety of businesses, as well as preparing accounts and tax computations. Before joining Watson Buckle, I served as an assistant audit manager for South African based company with a diverse client base.

My current goal is to grow within the firm, advance to an assistant managerial role and grow my portfolio of clients along the way.

I enjoy meeting new people, eager to create long-lasting relationships with clients, in order to help understand the business and assist entities to achieve their goals through proactive advice. I am excited to bring my unique blend of experience, skills and passion to a new professional opportunity and make a positive impact.

A little personal

Above all, I cherish spending time with family and friends. In my personal space I enjoy exercising, reading, fishing and walking with my dogs. Very passionate about good coffee and love watching sports (almost anything).
