Audit and Accounts Manager

I began my accountancy career in 2015 studying AAT and have now progressed to being ACA qualified during my time at Watson Buckle.

My role involves auditing financial statements for a wide variety of businesses, as well preparing accounts and tax computations. I am also involved in the recruitment of accounts assistants and I am part of our ESG team which you can read more about on our ESG page.

My current goal is to progress to a manager role within the firm which I am currently working towards by developing my knowledge and experience across a range of areas within the business.

I love the different challenges I am faced with in my role as this gives me the opportunity to solve and overcome problems. I enjoy being able to meet a wide range of people from different backgrounds as well as understand how different businesses operate. It is important to me to add value to any client that I work with.

I am dedicated, friendly and helpful, with a positive attitude and the view to learn something new every day.

A little personal

I love my dogs, so I hang out with them and go on plenty of walks. I am very close to my mum, and we love to go out for food and do jigsaws together. I also love travelling to new places and experiencing different cultures and their cuisines – I’m a big foodie!

What is your favourite meal?

I always say if I had to eat one thing forever it would be beans on toast (with brown sauce) as it is a classic and can be eaten at every meal. However, my favorite food would either be a Thai red curry or nachos with everything on them!
