Imaan Ali
My accounting career began as soon as I finished my A levels. I knew I wanted to pursue something in a business-related field and accountancy seemed like a good fit and leading on from this I started my journey as an accounts and audit trainee with Watson Buckle. In my time at Watson Buckle I have now achieved my AAT qualification, and I am now MAAT qualified. I think Watson Buckle is the ideal environment for me to continue to grow and develop in my accountancy journey and no 2 days are the same.
A little personal
Outside of work I love to spend time with family and with my sphynx kitten and tabby cat. I used to do karate every week. I also love to bake and draw when I get the chance and find it so calming and a good way to destress. I also like to play badminton or go out with my siblings and cousins.
What is your favourite film?
Hard to choose just one as I’m a marvel fanatic but at this moment Spiderman No Way Home.
What is your favourite song?
It’s very varied but I guess Under the Influence – Chris Brown.
What is your favourite meal?
Anything to do with Chicken or prawn curry.
What is your guilty pleasure?
Rewatching series or films to the point I know nearly every line before I start a new one.
