We’re not just about numbers at Watson Buckle, we’re committed to making a positive difference to the environment and the local community.
During 2024, we’re narrowing our ESG efforts to three key areas:
Reducing our carbon footprint with a variety of initiatives
We aim to do this by car sharing when possible, the cycle to work scheme, monitoring electricity and gas usage, electric car charging points, exploring sources of renewable energy, going paperless.
Putting well-being centre stage
Mental health should always be a priority, especially in the workplace.
We’re committing to training team members as Mental Health First Aiders, so everyone can get the support they deserve.
Our Charity of the Year
We will be supporting Dogs Trust as our Charity of the Year!
With the number of people looking to rehome dogs that they bought in lockdown, Dogs Trust needs more support.
So, throughout this year, we will be getting involved in fundraising and awareness-raising events.

Charity Draw
Every month we host a charity draw where our team pay £5 into a pot. Two names are drawn with the winners taking home part of the pot and the rest going to our chosen charity Dogs Trust.
Grand National Sweepstake
And their off…we have had a flying to start this year, with a Grand National Sweepstake in our office, that has helped to raise more than £50.
