Watson Buckle is celebrating a strong start to its 2025 charity fundraising campaign, having already raised £473 of its £1,000 annual target for its chosen charity of the year, Andy’s Man Club.

The Bradford-based accountancy firm recently held an in-office putting competition, The Watson Buckle Masters, which was a big hit with staff and helped push the total closer to its goal.

The event drew friendly competition from across the firm, with Zach Roberts crowned the overall winner following some exciting rounds of golf.

This is just the beginning of Watson Buckle’s fundraising efforts. The firm has plans to host a variety of events and initiatives throughout the year to continue building momentum and raise even more money for its chosen cause.

Managing Director Mark Wilcock said: “We’re proud of how our team has come together to support this year’s charity. There’s been a fantastic sense of energy and enthusiasm across the office.

“The putting competition was a great success and we’ve got plenty more activities in the pipeline. I’m confident we’ll reach, and hopefully exceed, our fundraising goal this year.”

Watson Buckle has a long tradition of supporting local and national charities. Previous fundraising campaigns include The Dogs Trust, Candlelighters, and The Cellar Trust.

Each year, the team chooses a new organisation to support through a mix of staff-led events and firm-wide initiatives.

The next fundraising events are already being planned, with staff eager to keep up the momentum and make a real difference in their community.
