Strengthening its commitment to clients in one of its most significant practice areas, Yorkshire accountancy firm Watson Buckle has welcomed Damien Wolvaard to its audits and accounts team.
A recently qualified Chartered Accountant (SA), Damien joins the firm from a role as an Assistant Audit Manager to a diverse client base.
His experience ideally places him to support clients on a range of matters, including accounts preparation, assurance and non-assurance engagements, auditing accounts, financial statements and tax computations.
He will be advising business clients across a range of sectors, seeking to “add value to the community” for the clients with whom he works closely.
A passionate sportsman with a strong commitment to family and friends, Damien also comes to the team with an approachable attitude and a drive to succeed and excel.
“I’m incredibly excited to begin my career with Watson Buckle,” said Damien. “I look forward to building long-lasting relationships with clients and continually meeting new people.
“This is what drives me and helps me to understand each client and their needs – allowing me to deliver proactive advice from my unique blend of experience, skills and passion for making a positive impact.
“I also welcome this as a new professional opportunity to achieve my long-term goals.
“My current goal is to grow within the firm, advance to an assistant managerial role and grow my portfolio of clients along the way.”
Mark Wilcock, Managing Director at Watson Buckle, said: “We’re proud to welcome Damien to the team.
“His skills are diverse, and his experience makes him a true asset to our audit and accounts department.
“We’re pleased that he has chosen to continue his career with us and that we have the opportunity to help him achieve his ambitions.”
