I have worked at Watson Buckle for many years, having initially joined the company straight from school as a trainee before qualifying as an accountant.

I participate in the preparation of annual accounts, management accounts, VAT and tax returns and providing advice and support to SMEs, while also supervising trainees to develop their skills and working on the statutory accounts preparation for some of our larger audit clients.

Experienced in the use of various cloud software, such as QuickBooks, Xero and Sage and their associated apps, I am often involved in training clients to make best use of these innovative platforms.

I enjoy supporting clients and learning about their businesses, the variety of work on a day-to-day basis and having the opportunity to work with and amongst both young and very experienced accountants.

I am a good listener and patient, efficient at identifying client’s needs and prioritising tasks so I can meet them.

A little personal

I am a busy married mum of two highly active young boys, so I love spending my spare time out walking, running, kicking a ball around and cycling in the beautiful Yorkshire surrounds.

I also enjoy cooking, watching films, listening to music, eating out and socialising with friends.
