Joe Parker
My career at Watson Buckle started as soon as I left 6th form at the beginning of September 2024.
So far I have learnt lots of new skills relating to many different aspects of my job. In my role I undertake bookkeeping, VAT and accounts preparation jobs in which I have worked with various people across the company, all of which are very helpful and friendly. I am looking forward to developing my skills further with the company as I progress up the ladder to hopefully achieve my ACA qualification and become a Chartered Accountant.
I always like to make sure I complete jobs to the best of my ability and don’t like to leave things at loose ends which drives me to complete tasks and solve problems when they arise.
A little personal
On the weekends I enjoy watching Liverpool and going to the matches if I’m lucky. I also like watching any football that’s on at night at the local pub while playing pool with friends and family. I have recently given up a Sunday league team but still stay active by playing 6-aside football on Monday nights.

The Wolf of Wall Street or Central Intelligence.
What is your favourite song?
Spaceman by The Killers or Dance wiv me Dizzee Rascal depending on the mood.
What is your favourite meal?
I love a Nando’s (4 boneless thighs and 2 lots of peri-peri chips) or a carvery.
What is your guilty pleasure?
Eating doner kebabs while watching Big Bang Theory.
